We will be covering a lot in this course! Each class will cover a theme such as Yoga Asana, Mindfulness and Meditation or Dance and the Creative process. In our Yoga section we will learn basic Yoga postures, looking at proper alignment and breath. We will be exploring ways to clamp the body and the mind using meditation and mindfulness techniques and will keep a open dialogue about how to use this work both on and off the mat. In our dance section we will be looking at Ballet, Modern Dance, Jazz, Hip Hop and work through some simple dance composition techniques. We may even fit in some strength training and some Barre fitness......you just never know!
Series consists of 4 classes held Friday afternoons from July 14th to August 4th
